- After vehicle was towed in attempted to start the truck and it started and ran for about an hour without any issues. Called the customer and got a little more information and the customer believed the fuel tank may have a small seal from a fuel additive bottle stuck in the bottom restricting the lift pump from getting any fuel to the engine. R&I the fuel tank and found the suspicion to be true. Removed the seal that was blocking the pickup tube. Found no other objects inside the tank. Also found the passenger side tie rod to have lots of up and down movement suggest replacing passenger side and drivers side tie rods and the drivers side also had a small amount of up and down play.
