- While in the parking lot was able to prime the fuel system and get the vehicle to start. After pulling the vehicle inside found that after shutting the vehicle off it would lose prime again. Pulled the fuel filter off to inspect if it was plugged and smelled a gasoline odor coming from the filter and fuel lines. Installed a pump into the fuel tank of the vehicle and pulled a sample of fuel from the fuel tanks. Found large amounts of gas in the fuel tank. Installed a pump into the bottom of the fuel tank of the vehicle and extracted all of the contaminated fuel out of the tank. Using the primer pump on the engine was able to extract all of the contaminated fuel out of the fuel tank. Installed 10 Gallons of diesel fuel into the fuel tank as well as a full bottle of diesel treatment/ Injector clean to assist with lubrication inside the pump and the injectors.
